What moves the number

Why two similar projects get different quotes

So you can see where the cost actually comes from, and change the brief if you want a different number.

How much is already decided

A project with wireframes and a content list costs less than one that starts with a conversation. If you do not have those, we will build them with you and quote the rest afterwards.

How many systems it has to touch

Each integration adds authentication, error handling, and a system whose behaviour we do not control. Two integrations is not twice the work of one; it is usually more.

Whether data has to move

Migrating an existing store or database is its own project. Old data is always messier than anyone remembers, so we price it separately rather than burying it.

How fast you need it

A normal timeline costs what is quoted. Compressing it means putting more people on the work, and we will tell you the number before you decide.

Questions

Money, contracts, and control

How do we work together remotely?

Calls are booked at a time that suits you, and everything decided on one gets written up the same day. Between calls you have a staging URL that is always current, a weekly written update, and a shared channel for anything that cannot wait. Nothing important lives only in someone's memory.

Who owns the code and the accounts?

You do, in full, once the final invoice is paid. Repositories, hosting, domains, and third-party accounts are created in your name from day one. We are added as collaborators and removed whenever you ask.

How does payment work?

We invoice in USD, GBP, EUR, or INR and accept bank transfer through Wise, Payoneer, or Skydo, card and ACH through Stripe, and PayPal. Each of those gives you local receiving details, so paying us is a domestic transfer rather than an international wire. Projects are billed in milestones, so you never pay for work you have not seen.

Is your AI work just a wrapper around ChatGPT?

No, and if a wrapper is genuinely all you need we will tell you that instead of billing for it. The work worth paying for is the part around the model: grounding it in your own data, measuring quality against a test set before launch, keeping costs predictable, and handling the days when the provider is slow or down. We will also tell you when a problem does not need AI at all, which is more often than the market suggests.

Which models and providers do you build on?

Whichever fits the job, and we keep the choice swappable so you are not locked to one provider. That usually means Claude, OpenAI, or an open-weight model you host yourself when data cannot leave your systems. We will explain the cost and privacy trade-offs in plain terms before you pick.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes, before the first call if you prefer. Send us yours or use ours. We also sign client-supplied MSAs and DPAs.

What happens if the project runs over scope?

Nothing gets built and billed without your written approval. When a request falls outside the agreed scope we quote it separately and you decide whether it goes in now, later, or not at all.

Do you work with agencies as a white-label partner?

Yes. Around a third of our work is delivered under another agency's brand. We stay off your client calls unless you invite us, and we can invoice your studio directly.

What if we need to reach you urgently?

Retainer clients get a monitored channel with a two-hour response target during working hours, and a four-hour target outside them for anything that takes a production site down.

Next step

Get a number, not a range.

Send us the scope, or the mess that will become one. You will have a written quote within two working days.
